The Main Street centre in Osborne Park is a cultural hub within the City consisting of a range of commercial premises, cafes, restaurants and community facilities.
The Osborne Park Urban Design Study was commenced in late 2017 in order to determine how Main Street could be designed to become more pedestrian-friendly. The Urban Design Study included three rounds of informal consultation (Vision Workshop, Design Workshop, and Open Day) resulting in a suite of documents.

Beaufort Street is one of Perth’s most vibrant and creative places offering a wide range of uses and services including shops, offices, restaurants and entertainment.
The Beaufort Street Strategy reflects the outcomes of the Beaufort Street Charrette, which was held between Monday 31 March to Wednesday 9 April 2014, to develop a vision and plan for revitalising Beaufort Street. A strong and healthy Beaufort Street will not only strengthen the communities of Mount Lawley and Inglewood, but will also play an integral role in delivering a more compact and liveable city for Perth.
