  • Auslan is the visual language of the Australian deaf community.

    The City offers this interpreting service free for residents and ratepayers on issues such as rates, garbage collection, community support, planning and building permit matters. For the assistance of an Auslan Interpreter, please phone our Contact Centre on (08) 9205 8555.

  • The National Relay Service (NRS) can help people who have difficulty hearing or speaking on the phone by involving a relay officer in the call. The NSR app and website accommodate and offer a variety of communication options from internet relay, captioned relay, SMS relay, video relay and more.
