The Esplanade, Scarborough Beach will be closed from the Scarborough Beach Road roundabout to Peters by the Sea from 6.00am Friday 29 March (Good Friday) until 10.00pm Monday 1 April (Easter Monday) to facilitate the NBL 3x3 Hustle National Championships and Scarborough SLAM.

There will be a hard road closure in place on The Esplanade between the Scarborough Beach Road roundabout and The Lookout, and a soft road closure between The Lookout and Peters by the Sea, to allow Rendezvous Hotel underground carpark access for hotel guests and public parking.

The usual Scarborough Beach public and paid parking will be available, however parking during peak periods can be limited and the closure of The Esplanade may result in increased congestion, so plan your journey ahead of time and consider the below options:

eScooters - Beam Mobility (Beam) will be available for hire from Scarborough Beach Bus Station and along the coast. For further information on the eScooters, please visit the City’s website.

Public transport - The Stirling and Glendalough Train Stations are the closest with buses 410 and 421 regularly servicing Stirling Train Station to Scarborough Beach. Check the Transperth Journey Planner for the best route.

Taxi and rideshare pick-up and drop-off

Taxi and rideshare drivers may only pick up and drop off passengers from the dedicated bays on The Esplanade opposite the Coles carpark. Vehicles are not permitted to pick up or drop off passengers outside of other venues.

The map below highlights the road closures and the pick-up / drop-off area.
