The City of Stirling sits on land known as Mooro Country, home to the Wadjak Nyoongar people for more than 40,000 years. The City respects and honours the Wadjak Nyoongar Elders past, present and emerging.
The City’s Reconciliation Action Plan was developed with help from Indigenous organisations and communities as well as the broader community.
Partnerships are essential for the successful implementation of the plan, as we work towards building a stronger community where relationships are based on respect, appreciation and understanding of each other’s cultures, traditions and lifestyles.

Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group
The City's Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group (RAPWG) meets quarterly to assist in the implementation of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2021 - 2023. The current RAP working group recognise the positive contributions that people from all backgrounds can make towards reconciliation and welcomes the involvement of community members to join us on our reconciliation journey.
