Tell us your historical story

Many of the fascinating details about how people lived in previous decades have never been written down and could be lost forever. However, the oral history process can capture wonderful and important moments of life, and provide a window into the past.

If you have an interesting story to tell, please share it with us. We are trying to collect and preserve as complete a record of the City of Stirling area as we can. This will enable researchers of all ages to understand all aspects of our story.

We are also collecting written information about former and current City of Stirling residents, including:

  • Where they came from
  • What they did for a living
  • How they developed their life in Western Australia.
