Officially established in February 2020 at the Scarborough Community Hub, the Stirling Women's Shed has become a place for women to learn practical skills while building social connections. Workshops are held by a variety of providers for the purpose of building knowledge in craft, technology, arts or wellness.
The Stirling Women’s Shed is also a hirable space for programs and services which meet the primary needs of women to learn practical skills while building social connections.

The Locals are a collective group of women with a shared love of creating. They aim to build a place where local women can connect, share and be inspired through arts within the Stirling area.
They run a variety of arts-based programs for women and children at the Stirling Women's Shed.
