Experience Christmas in the City

Get ready to experience the magic of the festive season at the City of Stirling. 

The Stirling Christmas Lights will be lighting up the City of Stirling Administration Centre forecourt every evening from Sunday 30 November to Sunday 28 December 2025. 

This year’s display invites families, friends, and neighbours to gather under the stars and celebrate the joy of Christmas in a truly unforgettable way.

Explore Play Trails this summer!

Looking for a fun and free way to get the kids active over the summer holidays? Play Trails offer interactive challenges, quizzes and family fun to get the kids busy. 

There are four trails to choose from, including: 

  • Star Swamp Bushland Reserve: Enjoy 96 hectares of bushland with quendas, native orchids and over 80 bird species to discover 
  • Trigg Bushland Reserve: Coastal shrubland with the trail meandering through native woodlands 
  • Herdsman Lake: Follow a ‘creepy crawly’ themed trail highlighting the lake ecosystem 
  • Lake Gwelup: Discover unique plants, trees and wildlife along the trail. 

Download the free Play Trails app to unlock site-specific content, solve quiz questions, complete challenges and collect points with your family. The trails are a great opportunity to learn about native plants, animals and ecosystems, as well as cultural connections.

  • For something a little more relaxed, why not visit one of our libraries? You can use our free Wi-Fi, browse our extensive catalogue, find a cosy corner to read a book or magazine or sign up to one of the fun school holiday activities on offer
  • Check out your local shopping centre, they often have free school holiday activities on offer for kids
  • If you are in Inglewood you can also visit the popular Inglewood Creature Trail and find all of the monsters!
