Scarborough Beach Play Trail launching in late June
Launching in late June, the Scarborough Beach Play Trail is a free, self-guided digital adventure designed for families to explore, play and connect with the outdoors.
Delivered in partnership with Nature Play WA, this interactive trail blends nature play with Scarborough’s vibrant coastal setting – encouraging kids to move, discover and learn through storytelling, challenges and activities along the way.
Starting at the Scarborough Beach Clock Tower, families can download the Play Trails app and follow a 1.5km pram-friendly route featuring eight engaging stops. Each location unlocks quick, playful challenges, creating a fun and flexible experience that takes about 45-90 minutes.
Best suited for children aged 6-14, it’s an easy way to turn a beach visit into a memorable outing, with nearby cafés and playgrounds like Whale Playground to enjoy along the way.
