Anzac Day services and opening hours

There are several Anzac Day services being held within the City of Stirling which are open to the public in 2024, offering residents the opportunity to pay their respects to current and former members of the Australian Defence Forces.

Anzac Day Eve Ceremony - Naval Association of Western Australia
Wednesday 24 April commencing at 4.30pm – 6.00pm
Stirling Civic Gardens, Cedric Street Stirling

North Beach RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Dawn Service
Thursday 25 April commencing at 6.00am (arrive by 5.30am) – 7.00am
Charles Riley Memorial Reserve, Kitchener Street, North Beach

Osborne Park RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Dawn Service
Thursday 25 April 2024 commencing at 6.30am – 7.30am
Memorial Hall, 129 Main Street, Osborne Park

Nollamara Sports and Recreation Club
Thursday 25 April 2024 commencing at 7.00am
Music from 12.00pm – 4.00pm
Nollamara Sports and Recreation Club – Lemana Road Nollamara

Mount Lawley/Inglewood Anzac Day Service
Thursday 25 April 2024 commencing at 8.00am (arrive 7.45am) – 9.00am

Yokine/Joondanna RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Day Service
Thursday 25 April 2024 commencing at 12.45pm
Yokine Districts Bowling Club, 10 Wordsworth Avenue, Yokine

The City of Stirling Administration Centre and Contact Centre will be closed on Anzac Day public holiday, with our after-hours provider available by phone for urgent queries.

The following facilities will also be closed on Thursday 25 April:

  • The City’s Operations Centre
  • all six Stirling Libraries (Dianella, Inglewood, Karrinyup, Mirrabooka, Osborne and Scarborough)
  • Herb Graham, Scarborough and Hamersley Leisure Centres
  • Stirling Community Men’s Shed.

Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre, Leisurepark Balga and Scarborough Beach Pool will open from 12.00pm to 6.00pm, however group fitness classes will not be running.

The Recycling Centre Balcatta and Hamersley Public Golf Course will remain open for business as usual.
