Local news for seven City wards

24 November 2023

City residents will receive more local news in their letterboxes this week, with the second edition of the City’s Ward News brochures currently being distributed.

The brochures include local news, things to do, major events and different ways people can get involved in the community, as well as contact details for your local Ward Councillors and the Mayor.

November Ward News is arriving in mailboxes just in time for the launch of new suburb pages on our website. These individually tailored pages provide a central location for local news, events, demographic profiles, Shaping our City projects, local stories and connections.

The suburb pages are an initiative of Locally-led Stirling, which aims to drive deeper connection at a suburb level to listen and respond with a local focus. At the heart of this approach is an understanding that local people know what they need and a vision for everyone to get involved in shaping what it means to be a ‘local’.

Get to know your local area and learn more about what makes each of the City’s 30 suburbs unique by visiting your suburb page at www.stirling.wa.gov.au/suburbs
