Churchlands Greens phase two trial details announced

The City is currently undertaking a second trial to reduce traffic management issues through Churchlands Green Estate.

Phase two of the Churchlands Greens traffic management trial will involve a temporary right turn closure from Empire Avenue into University Avenue from Thursday 29 July 2021 – Thursday 9 September 2021 (six weeks).

During the same period, Phase one restrictions, which have been in place since Wednesday 26 May 2021 will continue, including the right turn ban from Pearson Street into Alumni Terrace. 

The City will compare all data collected from this trial including Phase one restrictions on Pearson Street and University Avenue, as well as Phase one and two restrictions on Empire Avenue and University Avenue.
