Construction on Main Street

The City has finalised an improvement plan for the Main Street carpark to provide current amenities and create a versatile space that locals can use for community-led events.

Community consultation ran for five weeks until November 2022, with feedback supporting additional shade provided by new trees and a sheltered multi-use space.

Construction will start soon, with Osborne Ward Councillors Lisa Thornton and Teresa Olow recently meeting with local community and business representatives to celebrate.
