Council set to live stream meetings

11 May 2020

The City is set to live stream its Council meetings as soon as this week.

Council will consider a Live Streaming Policy at its meeting on Tuesday 12 May. After the policy is adopted, the Council meeting will go live on the City’s website.

The addition of live streaming will complement other online processes for Council meetings such as ePetitions and the online submissions for Public Question Time and Deputations.

Live streaming of Council meetings will allow the community to have immediate access to the outcome of the meeting without compromising social distancing measures.
