Hamer Park Reserve includes a sail-shaded playground, picnic shelters and a pedestrian path network.
Accessed from the car park off Second Ave, the playground at Hamer Park is shaded by adjacent trees and shade sails. The playground includes a combination unit with 2 slides, accessible basket swings, accessible spinning dish and an accessible rocker. A picnic table is located adjacent to the playground and another set of swings are located in a separate sand pit.
Sporting grounds include a cricket net.
