Edith Cowan Reserve was built to honour the legacy of Edith Cowan and is located on University Avenue, Woodlands and has limited free, on-street parking.
Edith Dircksey Cowan OBE was an Australian social reformer who worked for the rights and welfare of women and children. She is best known as the first Australian woman to serve as a member of parliament. Cowan has featured on the reverse of Australia's $50 note since 1995.
Amenities include public BBQs, picnic shelters, playground and natural areas.
Recreational activities include fitness/exercise equipment and basketball courts.
