It provides valuable recreation and social opportunities to the community and records over 200,000 visits a year. Current facilities include an 18-hole golf course, 8-bay driving range, pro shop and the Gleneagles Bar and Reception Centre. Course RenovationsThe City of Stirling undertakes course renovations twice annually to ensure course quality is maintained to a high standard.These works include greens, fairways and tee renovations, drainage maintenance and major tree works.The next renovation dates are scheduled from Monday, 13 March 2017 to Friday, 17 March 2017 in which the following closures will apply: Monday - Tuesday: Holes 1 to 9 ClosedWednesday - Thursday: Holes 10 to 18 ClosedFriday: Course reopens pending completion of renovation worksNew Building UpgradesThe City of Stirling has recently undertaken some critical maintenance works at the Hamersley Public Golf Course. These works included:Updates to the change rooms including painting, re-tiling, replacement of basins and fixings, and a deep commercial clean;Repairs to the Pro Shop including replacement of carpets, internal and external painting, and roofing repairs;Replacement of the shade sails in the outdoor alfresco; andRecommissioning of the barbeque facilities.We thank you for your cooperation and patience during these works.Course Closed for TournamentsThe course will be closed for golf tournaments on the following dates. The course will be open to the public before and after each of these tournaments in line with the golf course opening and closing times- Monday 1 May 2017 from 7.30am to 12.30pm for the WA Women's Golf League Autum Cup. Please contact the Pro Shop on (08) 9447 7137 from 7.00am the Monday prior or make a booking in person at the counter.Motorised golf carts must be booked at all times. Please contact the Pro Shop on (08) 9447 7137 during opening hours to make a booking (subject to availability). A credit card (not debit card) must be presented at time of hire which will be used as security against damages. Condition of play All players are required to adhere to the following conditions: Minimum dress standard—shirts, shorts, flat soled shoes Green fees must be paid prior to play or practice Players must have a minimum of 2 clubs, putter, 2 golf balls and a golf bag Advanced bookings are necessary on weekends and public holidays to ensure availability Children under 10 are not permitted on the course All golfers are required to follow the course controller’s instructions Please give way to maintenance staff For further conditions of play, please refer to your score card. Other facilities Restaurant, function centre and kioskA licensed restaurant and kiosk are available for meals 7 days a week, operated by Gleneagles Bar & Reception Centre . Pro Shop A full range of golf clubs, clothing and accessories are available from the Pro Shop, operated by the Golf Team. Electric and manual carts are also available.
