Sandpit Sunday Beach Dancing

4pm 1hr Free Beginners dance Lessons - Lessons provided by experienced instructors from local dance schools mostly in the Styles of Salsa Bachata Kizomba or Zouk.

5:00pm to 8:00 pm - Social Dancing by DJ Tia Plus second dance floor up top with Brazilian styles Forro samba de gafieira and Zouk.

COST: $5.00 (Cash Only) Get yourself a wristband before hitting the sand floor. Feel free to share event on Facebook. Dancing is on concrete which will have a light covering of sand for a perfect pivoting and slide action; it is recommended you bring old sneakers or shoes with rubber soles. Food trucks in attendance for snacks and refreshments

NO ALCOHOL – Scarborough beach is an alcohol free zone, and is strictly monitored regularly by police and rangers. There are a couple of bars and a number of licensed restaurants within 200m of the Amphitheatre.
