To celebrate International Compost Awareness Week, the City is offering the City of Stirling residents up to a trailer load of free compost per household on Thursday 9 May.
Upon arrival at the Recycling Centre Balcatta, simply show your ID. The 20 cubic meter compost pile will be available until supply runs out. Residents are encouraged to bring your own trailer, or buckets and bags, shovels, and other tools. We also recommend wearing gloves and a face mask when handling the compost material.
