Seniors Week runs from 9 to 16 November, with events and activities held across WA.
Seniors Week is a great opportunity for all ages to acknowledge and celebrate the role older people have in our communities and encourage their participation in community life.
We’re working towards an inclusive and harmonious City by creating opportunities for our diverse community – including older residents – to connect with their local areas.
See below information for all the events and activities happening.

Age-Friendly Plan 2023–2027
The City consulted with the community to identify key priorities for supporting older people. These insights shaped our Age-Friendly Plan 2023–2027, which will directly guide our services, partnerships, and advocacy to ensure older Australians are celebrated, respected, and actively supported to participate in community life.
