Renewal works for Scarborough Amphitheatre
The City is facilitating maintenance and renewal works at the Scarborough Amphitheatre starting Monday 31 August.
The works are being undertaken as part of the City's ongoing asset renewal program to preserve the Scarborough Amphitheatre, extend the service life of the structure, improve its durability in the coastal environment and maintain its visual appeal as a key community asset.
To safely complete the works, the amphitheatre seating area will be temporarily fenced off and closed to the public for the duration of the project.
The City aims to complete the renewal works and reopen the amphitheatre in mid-October ahead of the summer season, ensuring the structure remains available for community events, performances and public use.
Kardan Construction has been appointed as the Principal Contractor.
