Learn more about the City of Stirling's seniors strategies and initiatives that support and encourage long-term independence for senior members of our community.
Age-Friendly Strategy
Our City is now home to more than 50,000 people over the age of 60, so it’s important that we provide services and support to our residents as they age.
The City consulted with the community on important issues and included discussions on:
- Housing
- Social participation
- Support and health services
- Respect and social inclusion
- Transport and much more.
This identified our priorities and objectives to help us become an age-friendly city, which can be found in our Age Friendly Strategy 2023 - 2027.
Age Friendly Strategy 2023 - 2027
Hard copies of the strategy are available at the City’s community centres, libraries and at the Administration Centre in Stirling.
