Coastal Ward Councillors Tony Krsticevic and Rob Paparde recently attended the launch of the Trigg Bushland Story Trail, which uses signage to share the stories and secrets of one of Perth’s most precious remnants of coastal bushland.

The City recently finished the installation of the new Beachfit Zone, a calisthenics and street workout set-up on the north end of Scarborough Beach. The equipment provides a new hub for street workout and calisthenics enthusiasts.

This month will see the City support the return of Groundswell with a distilled version of the event across 10-11 October, focusing on the beloved surf, skate and BMX competitions that have defined the weekend for years.

Scarborough Amphitheatre is also set to reopen this month following the completion of renewal works.

Two new raised pedestrian crossings on West Coast Drive in North Beach and Trigg were recently approved by Council and will be listed for consideration next year’s annual budget.
