The City of Stirling is developing a five-year Destination Plan – and we’re seeking your ideas
Through Future Stirling, you’re invited to help shape the future of tourism by taking part in a range of engagement activities.
This plan will serve as a strategic roadmap to enhance visitor experiences, strengthen tourism infrastructure, and boost economic prosperity. It will guide the growth and management of the City’s visitor economy, build on the industry’s unique strengths, address gaps, define target markets, and recommend priority projects.
The City welcomes all kinds of visitors – from holidaymakers and event-goers to business travellers and students. Many come to visit friends and family while enjoying local experiences and boosting our economy. Tourism contributes 1.8% to the gross regional product ($706 million), supporting 3,088 jobs and accounting for 3.5% of all employment in the City.
