Love Your Clothes is a community workshop series focused on reducing textile waste by helping residents repair, restore, refresh and care for the clothes they own.
Local experts can help you learn practical skills that extend the life of clothing and textiles, keeping valuable resources in use and out of landfill through a range of hands-on workshops:
- Decluttering: Living Better with Less | Saturday 5 September | 9.30am – 11.30am | Stirling Libraries – Mirrabooka (Innovation Lab)
- Visible Mending | Saturday 19 September | 9.30am – 11.30am | Stirling Libraries – Inglewood (Meeting room)
- T-Shirt to Tote Bag Upcycling Workshop for Kids | Wednesday 30 September | 2.00pm – 2.30pm & 2.30pm – 3.00pm | Stirling Libraries – Osborne
- Intro to Sewing | Saturday 3 October | 1.30pm – 4.30pm | Stirling Leisure – Hamersley (Community Hall)
- Leather Care and Restoration | Saturday 17 October | 2.00pm – 4.30pm | Stirling Leisure – Inglewood (Activity Room)
- Upcycling Textiles: Natural Indigo Dyeing | Saturday 31 October | 11.30am – 1.30pm | Scarborough Community Hub.
