Lawley Ward Councillors Joe Ferrante and Suzanne Migdale recently visited the site of a mobile CCTV trailer deployed to respond to community safety concerns in the area.

Mobile CCTV trailers provide a flexible way for the City to deter antisocial and criminal behaviour in places where permanent CCTV infrastructure is not practical or required.

In Mount Lawley, the Safer Exchange Site was recently made permanent after a successful trial period. Located at 679 Beaufort Street, the site provides a dedicated, well-lit public space designed to support safer online transactions.

In response to community concerns, the City recently completed a $591,000 safety upgrade at the intersection of Central Avenue and Clifton Crescent in Inglewood, fully funded through the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.
