Help shape a healthier future

The City of Stirling is creating its inaugural Public Health Plan – and we’re inviting your input.
Through Future Stirling, you can help shape the future of health in our community by participating in a range of engagement activities.
This plan will guide how we promote, protect, and enhance public health across the City for the next five years and beyond – ensuring residents, visitors, and businesses benefit from a safe, vibrant, and well-supported environment.
The first stage of engagement, Everyone Belongs, revealed valuable insights into what matters for our community’s health. Findings highlight the importance of local recreational programs, events and opportunities for social connection.
However, challenges remain – feelings of belonging decrease for people with mental health conditions, who make up 15% of our population. Additionally, nine out of ten residents aren’t eating enough vegetables, and one in two aren’t getting enough physical activity.
Now, we need your advice to help define which health concerns are prioritised in the plan and the types of services and activities that are developed.
Share your health focus as part of Future Stirling – we want your voice to help guide what comes next.
