Hamersley Ward Councillors Chris Hatton and Karlo Perkov visited Alvaston Ashover Ballidon Reserve to admire the new mural Protect the Little Guys by emerging artist Lynzie Bremner.

Supported by the City’s Community Grants Program, the mural was created with input from both Carine Primary School and Carine Senior High School students and celebrates the endemic bugs that call the area home.

A CCTV upgrade at Stirling Leisure – Karrinyup is due to be completed this month, which will involve replacing 10 existing cameras with new digital models and upgrading the system to allow remote access for improved efficiency.

Social pickleball at Stirling Leisure – Hamersley recently moved to a primetime slot in the schedule. Now running from 4.00pm – 7.30pm on Thursdays weekly, it’s easier than ever the try the sport that everyone’s talking about.
