Covering the start of WA Tree Festival, the autumn school holidays are packed with free activities to connect with nature indoors and outside.
Play in the Park – Cubby building | 7-10 April | 9.30am – 11.30am | Millett Park, Innaloo
As part of WA Tree Festival, join Educated by Nature for a hands-on, tactile cubby building play opportunity in the beautiful surrounds of Millett Park, Innaloo.
Terrarium workshops | 8-13 April | Various times | Various Stirling libraries
Join Einsteins Australia and discover the magic of the water cycle while creating your very own mini terrarium to take home.
Play in the Park – Muddy play | 14-17 April | 9.30am – 11.30am | Bina Parkland Playground
As part of WA Tree Festival, these sessions give children an opportunity to take sensory risks with natural clay in a supportive environment.
The 2026 WA Tree Festival runs from Saturday 11 April to Sunday 10 May across more than 20 local councils. It is proudly sponsored by the WA Government, with support from WA Local Government Association and Perth NRM.
