Ngalla Kaartdijin: Nyoongar culture workshop for kids

01 April 2026
Kaartdijin in Nyoongar means 'knowledge'. Nyoongar peoples have lived in the south-west of Western Australia for more than 60,000 years and are custodians of the oldest continuing cultures in the world.
Join Nyoongar-Yamatji man Preston Culbong at Mount Flora Museum on Friday 17 April from 10.00am to 12.00 noon for Ngalla Kaartdijin (our knowledge). Learn more about the Waugal, caring for Boodja (Country), Kep Kaartdijin (water knowledge) and more.
This event is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
Bookings are essential. Please book one ticket per child. Parents and guardians must remain with their child for the duration of the event, but do not require a separate ticket.
