Climate conversations

The City of Stirling is inviting you to be part of an important community conversation about climate change – and how it’s affecting you.
Through Future Stirling, you can help shape the City’s climate priorities for the next decade and beyond.
Challenges include a drying climate, water scarcity, hotter days, more frequent storms, coastal erosion, increased bushfire risk, and tree canopy loss. The City is working to reduce these risks in accordance with the Climate Adaptation Plan, but we want to hear directly from you – how are you being impacted, and what do you think should be prioritised?
We’re responding to an expectation across our community that the City should increase its efforts to create a more sustainable future. Strong feedback across all areas of the City of Stirling shows that people want to be more involved and would like the City to provide leadership and direction.
By including climate conversations in the major review of the Strategic Community Plan, we’re ensuring that community priorities are aligned and embedded within our strategic direction and on-the-ground program delivery.
Share your climate change focus as part of Future Stirling – your voice will help guide what comes next.
