Join City of Stirling artists-in-residence Claire Davenhall and Amanda Kendle for a collaborative, creative workshop exploring your stories, memories and connections of Scarborough. During this fun and friendly morning, participants can experiment with mixed media image making and podcast storytelling, to create artworks and share stories that respond to place, lived experience and connection. Participants are invited to reflect on:
🌊 What stories does Scarborough hold for you?
🌿 How do places shape our memories and identity?
🎧 How can personal stories become part of a shared community narrative?
If you can, bring along:
📸 Photographs of meaningful places, people or memories
📖 Stories you would like to share
🌊 Objects, textures or small items connected to the coast or your own journey Or just bring yourself! No previous art experience needed.
This workshop welcomes adults of all ages and encourages curiosity, experimentation and conversation. The artworks, stories and sound recordings created through the residency will become part of an immersive group exhibition at Inglewood Arts Hub, 4–14 November 2026.
