Join us for a community indigo dip session with Carly from Rivarossa Botanicals, hosted through The Locals, on Saturday, November 7, from 9.00am–12.00 noon. For just $30 per person, drop in anytime during the session and give your old clothes a new lease on life with the beautiful blues of natural indigo! Maximum 5 items per ticket.

This is a relaxed, self-led workshop where you can experiment with dipping, creating prints and patterns, and transforming pieces you already own. Carly will be on hand to guide you through the dipping process, offer tips and techniques, and answer any questions along the way.

What to bring: Bring along clothing or textiles you’d love to refresh. Natural fibres such as cotton, hemp, linen and silk work best. Blended fabrics may also work, depending on their fibre content, but synthetic materials generally don’t take indigo dye as well. Whether you’re looking to refresh an old T-shirt, add patterns to a favourite piece or simply have a go at something new, everyone is welcome!

Let’s get creative, give our clothes a second life and bring a little more blue to our community. Come and help us make Scarborough Blue!
