Boasting stunning views of the coast, Stirling Leisure – Scarborough Beach is so much more than just a pool. 

The complex includes:

  • Outdoor 50m pool with eight lanes and four 25m lanes heated to 27 degrees all year round
  • Leisure pool which is currently heated to 31 degrees
  • Aqua Fitness classes
  • Outdoor Group Fitness classes including Yoga and HIIT.

Last entry 30 minutes prior to closing and showering patrons must exit the pools 15 minutes prior to closing.

  • Learn to Swim - Learn to Swim programs are offered at Stirling Leisure – Scarborough Beach. We offer Aquababies and preschool lessons from October to April and Levels 1 to 14, squads and adult lessons from October until July. Visit the swimming lessons page for more details.

For the health and safety of employees and patrons, the following conditions of entry must be adhered to prior to entry:

  • No towel, no entry
  • Sanitise your hands upon entry
  • Please do not attend the facility if you are unwell
  • Children 4 years and under

    • Must wear a ‘Watch Around Water’ wristband at all times

    • Must be accompanied by a supervising adult (16 years or older) in the water within arms length, at all times.

  • Children 12 years and under

    • Must be accompanied by a supervising adult (16 years or older) at all times.

Staff will be onsite during all opening hours to assist users, please follow the direction of staff at all times. Staff retain the right to refuse entry for anyone who does not comply with the above conditions of entry.

Scarborough Beach Learn to Swim Program – Enrol now!

The City of Stirling’s Scarborough Beach Learn to Swim Program is now open for enrolments. The program will commence on 13 October 2025 and run through to July 2026, with lower level classes concluding on 2 April 2026.

Held at one of Western Australia’s most iconic coastal locations, this program offers high-quality swimming instruction in a safe and supportive environment. It is suitable for all ages and skill levels, with a strong focus on water safety, skill development, and building confidence in aquatic settings.

Ocean Heroes

Ocean Heroes 24 hour swim

The City of Stirling has developed strong links with Ocean Heroes in recent years and will once again be hosting the annual Ocean Heroes 24-hour swim on Friday 17 April. The event will deliver a 24-hour non-stop swim challenge to promote autism awareness throughout the community. This event will be raising much needed funds for the continuation of the Ocean Heroes program.

The 50m & 25m Lap pool at Scarborough Beach Pool will be closed from 3.30pm on Friday 17 April until 4.30pm on Saturday 18 April. The Leisure pool will remain open for the entirety of the event. 

The 9.00am Deep HIIT class on Saturday 18 April will be cancelled. 

Excitingly, Team Scarborough Beach Pool will return to the pool in 2026: this team consists of members from the City of Stirling. Please support the team by donating to their GiveNow link: https://www.givenow.com.au/sbp
