The fix is in at Repair Café Doubleview

Have you got a favourite jacket with a torn seam, a blunt set of garden shears or a well-loved toaster that has suddenly stopped working? Repair Café Doubleview can give them a new lease on life and save them from landfill.

If you can carry it through the door, the handy volunteers will take a look at it. Visitors are encouraged to watch how the fix is done and pick up some useful skills along the way.

Repair Café Doubleview runs from 10.00am to 12.00 noon on the second Saturday of the month at 228 Hancock Street in the guide hall behind Doubleview House.

Gold coin donations are appreciated but entry and repairs are free unless special items must be purchased to complete the fix.
