Repair Cafe Doubleview takes place once a month (except for December and January) on the second Saturday of the month. Members of the community are invited to bring broken household items into the Repair Cafe to be fixed by a team of volunteer repairers.

Repairs are made free of charge, however, donations (cash or card) are welcome to help cover costs. Items for repair may include clothing/textiles, electrical appliances, small items of furniture, jewellery, toys, also knives, scissors, garden tools etc needing to be sharpened.

A recycling service is also available, but only for items that are generally hard to recycle; such as plastic bottle tops, oral/dental care products (including toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers and Piksters), disposable razors, and used pens, including Sharpies.

And if you just want a chat, come and grab a cuppa and sit at one of our ‘Chatter and Natter’ tables. Everyone in the local community is welcome at Repair Cafe.
