The City of Stirling's coffee and treats

21 July 2025

If your perfect winter day starts with a good brew and ends with something sweet, we've got you covered.

From beachside coffees to hidden patisserie gems, we’re all about slowing down, warming up, and treating yourself … your way.

Whether you’re a long black loyalist, a matcha ambassador, or just here for the cinnamon buns, here’s how to sip and snack your way through the City of Stirling.

Start with a brew worth waking up for

Begin your day at Micrology Coffee Roasters in Osborne Park. These guys know their beans, and you can even watch the roasting in action. The cinnamon bun? Absolutely worth getting out of bed for.

Heading along the coast? Little Bay in Watermans Bay has a takeaway coffee window made for a morning stroll by the beach. Their strawberry matcha is a standout if you’re in the mood for something a little different.

For a bold, full-bodied cup, Darkstar Coffee (also in Osborne Park) blends café comfort with roastery vibes, serving up serious flavour in a stripped-back industrial space.

Foam is Surfing WA Surf School’s own coffee kiosk in Trigg with quick service, great brews, and that easy-going charm that keeps people coming back. They even do surfboard hire!

Treat yourself

Kings Eurostyle Bakery in Balcatta serves up baked goods that feel like they’ve been handed down through generations, with a Burek that people drive far and wide for!

Scarborough’s Drift Kitchen or their neighbour venue SKØL serves up quality coffee and fresh bites with a laid-back, surfy vibe – try their winter bircher for something delish.

Ready for something sweet? Crumbs in the Wall, a bi product of the famous Crumbs Patisseries, is a newly opened gem in Osborne Park. Their Hot Choccy Croissant is legendary, think molten chocolate, whipped cream and dark flakes in a cube of pastry heaven.

In Scarborough, Harvest Boulangerie brings French flair with buttery croissants, pain au chocolate and seasonal specials.

Gluten-free? Dough Street has you covered with baked treats that don’t skimp on flavour, including their pistachio pain au chocolate. Bodega in Scarborough’s Ferrero Rocher semifreddo (also dairy free), is a major winner worth detouring post-dinner for. If you’re all about that scoop life, Billy Van Creamy has endless flavours, with dairy free options and gluten free cones for all our dietary friends.

Bakeries that go beyond

Knead Bread and Coffee in Scarborough is known for its stunning sourdough and excellent coffee. Get the cream cheese at the ready, stock up with bagels or fresh loaves and linger over a latte.

In Inglewood, Wild Bakery is all about organic, handmade breads and pastries that are as nourishing as they are delicious. Made with quality ingredients and baked fresh daily, it’s the perfect savoury snack to warm you up on a winter afternoon.

And for something bold and aromatic, Bossman Coffee in Mount Lawley delivers strong brews and Middle Eastern-inspired treats in a moody, stylish space.

For seriously delicious baklava, homemade pizza bases and fresh-out-the-oven Turkish bread, check out Roselea Kebab and Turkish Bakery in Balcatta. If you’re hungry for lunch, their gözleme and pide are some of the best around.

Want to make a day of it?

Pair this trail with a coastal walk, a visit to the Scarborough Sunset Markets, a swing at Hamersley Public Golf Course’s driving range, or a stop at Karrinyup Shopping Centre if the weather turns. It’s all about mixing and matching to suit your vibe.
