Temporary closure of Cedric Street

The right turn movement from Flax Way to Ellen Stirling Boulevard will also be temporarily restricted to allow traffic flow through the detour routes.

Once Cedric Street is closed, Main Roads WA will be working 24/7 to safely complete pavement construction, asphalting, draining, landscaping and signalised intersection tie-in works.

Buses and pedestrians will still be able to access Cedric Street throughout the construction period and Stirling Station and related carparks will remain accessible via Stephenson Avenue.

Access to Mitchell Freeway southbound will be maintained at Stephenson Avenue.

As part of this next stage of works, there will also be an overnight closure of Cedric Street eastbound between Odin Road and Stephenson Avenue from 7.00pm on Sunday 24 May to 5.00am on Monday 25 May.

Please plan ahead and allow additional travel time on your journeys through the area.
