In case you missed it, here's some news from around the City! 
 
New floodlights have been switched on at two reserves in the City of Stirling’s Balga Ward, giving the community more opportunities to get outside and play. Princess Wallington Reserve in Balga and Des Penman Reserve in Nollamara have received new lighting through a $1.81 million partnership between the City of Stirling and the State Government.
 
The Friends of Star Swamp Bushland celebrated 40 years, an inspiring milestone in local environmental stewardship. Their work has helped preserve one of the region’s most ecologically and culturally significant bushland areas.

The City is currently advertising a proposed Cats Local Law, aiming to provide the City with sufficient measures to control the keeping of cats and protect native fauna and flora across the district in accordance with the Cat Act 2011 (WA).
