New shoots for Adopt-A-Park Program

01 October 2026

Our Adopt-A-Park Program has been refreshed, introducing new resources and initiatives to better support the dedicated community members who help keep our parks, reserves and open spaces clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.

The program connects local residents with their neighbourhood parks, encouraging community pride and active stewardship of our public spaces.

As part of the refresh, updated Supporter Guides and Park Log Books have been developed to make participation easier and more rewarding.

Several new initiatives have also been introduced, including:

Community event requests for help with planning and delivering community-led events
Outreach cards to help raise awareness and encourage greater community involvement
Supporter of the Year Award to be named at annual recognition event.
