Inglewood Ward Councillors Damien Giudici and Daniela Ion recently attended the first competition at Inglewood Little Athletics Centre’s new home at Yokine Regional Open Space.

Supported by a $470,000 investment by the City, the club’s new facilities include concrete throwing circles, a javelin pad, two double-sided long jump pits, specialised storage and more.

Stirling Leisure – Inglewood will be hosting Swim for Life 2026 on Sunday 15 November, raising funds for men’s mental health. In addition to supporting the event, the City will have a team in the pool, led by Mayor Mark Irwin AM and CEO Stev Rodic.

The leisure centre also launched a new term of its five-week Pregnancy Wellness program today. Running until Thursday 3 December, the program includes a mix of yoga and aqua fitness to maintain fitness and strength during all stages of pregnancy.

The City recently completed consultation on proposed road safety upgrades around Inglewood Primary School, receiving 71 submissions that will help inform next steps.
