The City of Stirling is excited to present a special Creatives + Connections: Emerging Artist Masterclass with one of Australia's leading advocates for emerging artists, Amber Creswell Bell.
Travelling to Perth this November, Amber will share her extensive experience working with artists across Australia and provide practical guidance on navigating the commercial art world.
As Director of Emerging Art at Michael Reid Galleries, Sydney from 2019 to 2025, Amber curated emerging art and ceramics programs while helping launch the careers of numerous artists.
In 2021, she also co-founded the National Emerging Art Prize, further cementing her reputation as a champion of emerging creative talent.
Hosted at Stirling Leisure – Inglewood Community Centre on Saturday 14 November, this intensive masterclass is designed for artists seeking greater confidence and clarity in developing their professional practice.
Running from 10.00am to 12.30pm, topics include gallery representation, approaching galleries, pricing artwork, developing collector relationships, leveraging social media, building an online presence, art prizes, art fairs and crafting compelling artist statements and biographies.
