Future Stirling enters final phase of community consultation

The City of Stirling has reached the final phase of Future Stirling, inviting community feedback on the draft Sustainable Stirling 2026–2036.

The City of Stirling has reached the final phase of Future Stirling, inviting community feedback on the draft Sustainable Stirling 2026–2036.

Over the past year, residents, community groups and stakeholders have shared powerful insights as part of the major review of the City’s Strategic Community Plan – highlighting what matters most, what would make Stirling an even better place to live, and where Council should focus its efforts into the future.

More than 1,600 residents contributed their ideas and priorities through surveys and pop-events, with hundreds more taking part in community workshops and targeted conversations, to help refine and define our 47 focus areas and identify gaps and opportunities.

Now, informed by the perspectives and aspirations you shared through engagement, the draft Sustainable Stirling 2026–2036 is open for community review, setting out the long-term vision and priorities that will guide how the City plans, delivers services and makes decisions over the next decade.

To help finalise the plan, from 5 May to 29 May 2026, the community is invited to play an important role in testing the draft plan to ensure it reflects where we are now, where we want to be over the next 10 years, and that it truly represents everyone in our community.

You can review the draft plan and lodge a submission online via Future Stirling, or drop in to one of the Future Forums to learn more about the draft plan, ask questions and share your perspective in person.
