Coastal Ward Councillors Rob Paparde and Tony Krsticevic recently visited the Scarborough Beach Clock Tower to see the iconic landmark’s new feature lighting in action.

The lighting upgrade will enable the clock tower to be lit up in a variety of colours in recognition of significant events or appeals – such as the 16 Days in WA campaign.

The Public Transport Authority’s new Surf CAT started running on Sunday 30 November, a free service every 10 minutes for most of the day, featuring new surfboard racks. Main Roads is currently conducting roadworks at the West Coast Highway and Scarborough Beach Road intersection until mid-December to support the Surf CAT.

Parking wayfinding signage is now in place for Scarborough Beach carparks, with live updates on available parking bays in the foreshore precinct also available on the City’s website.
