Join us for the official launch of the Trigg Bushland Reserve Story Trail and be among the first to experience this exciting new trail, designed to connect people with nature, and hear local stories in one of Perth’s most captivating landscapes.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a morning of exploration, free refreshments, and meet others as we officially open the trail.

You can discover more about the reserve by registering for one of the walking tours offered. Although the Ridge Loop and Dune Loops form the Story Trail and cover up to 6kms in total, the short walking tours on the Ridge Loop are designed to give you a brief introduction to the Story Trail and what makes this coastal wilderness so special.

Walks are classified as 3 – moderate with unsealed paths and some steep inclines.

The walking tours take about an hour. Registrations are essential.

It is recommended you bring a hat, water and sunscreen for the journey.

Walk A (1.5kms - 2kms) – Discover Hidden Secrets

The bush has a multitude of secrets and stories it holds. Learn about the amazing connection and adaptation each species has, to survive in this coastal wilderness.

Walk B (1.5kms - 2kms) – Wadjak Nyoongar Traditions

Walk amongst ancient woodland giants and discover how the Wadjak Nyoongar people followed the seasons, lived and navigated these lands. Learn how this knowledge has been passed on through stories and songlines for thousands of years.
