Mount Flora Regional Museum Meeting Room
Nestled within the scenic Laurie Strutt Reserve, the Mount Flora Regional Museum meeting room offers a versatile space ideal for meetings, corporate seminars, professional development sessions, and small community classes such as yoga or meditation.
The room is well-equipped with:
- Overhead projector
- Wi-Fi
- Lectern
- 50 chairs
- 6 folding tables.
Comfort is ensured year-round with carpeted flooring and reverse cycle air-conditioning heating and cooling. A convenient kitchenette includes a sink, hot water wall urn, bar fridge, cups, saucers, and cutlery.
Double doors open onto a veranda with stunning coastal views, and guests are welcome to enjoy the museum’s rooftop lookout, which provides breathtaking 360-degree views of the northern suburbs and coastline. Historically, this lookout served as an observation post during World War II.
Please note: This venue is not available for parties or celebrations.
Accessibility features include pathway access and an accessible toilet.
Venue fees, terms and conditions
$36.00 per hour
The community rate applies to groups or individuals who use City spaces without any commercial gain and are not incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015. This includes groups and individuals hosting functions without charging guests an entry fee, as well as social groups using the spaces for recreational purposes.
$59.00 per hour
The commercial rate applies to bookings that are hiring the facility to make a profit for themselves or organisation.
