Please be advised the City is not the decision-maker for this application and the application will instead be determined by the Metro Inner Development Assessment Panel (DAP). The City’s role is to provide a recommendation to the DAP through a Responsible Authority Report. As part of preparing the City’s Responsible Authority Report to the DAP, the City is seeking your comments on the proposal. Any comments will be included within the Responsible Authority Report to ensure that the community’s views have the opportunity to form part of the DAP’s consideration of the proposal. Information regarding the DAP process can be found on the DAP website at https://www.planning.wa.gov.au/development-assessment-panels 

The key components of the proposed development include:

  • A total of 17 car bays are to be provided on the ground level, with at-grade vehicle access is obtained from the rear laneway (Azurite Lane), adjacent to the eastern boundary of the subject site
  • The proposed parking areas will comprise the following:
    • 12 permanent residential car bays
    • 5 commercial car bays including one ACROD bay
  • Pedestrian ingress and access is available from Muriel Avenue
  • Waste servicing is proposed to be located on-site, with weekly collections via the rear laneway (Azurite Lane) for both the domestic and commercial components
  • A total of five (5) Medium Trees (mature trees) being proposed on site with associated deep soil zones.

This development application has previously been considered by the City’s Design Review Panel on 20 November 2025, viewable at the following link: Design Review Panel Report Items. The Design Review Panel Report has been provided to the Applicant for their consideration in the development application process.
