Upgrade offers new perspective on Trigg Beach

Visitors can now enjoy views of our stunning coastline from a new elevated platform, relax under a shaded picnic area and take in the scenery from an informal lookout at the western edge of the dunes.

The works also feature an enhanced grassed area for recreation and brand-new beach showers.

These improvements are designed to protect the fragile dune system by discouraging walking in areas where restoration has been challenging.

The City will also carry out dune revegetation during winter, taking advantage of cooler, wetter conditions, which will help safeguard biodiversity and create a valuable habitat for native wildlife.
