Summer Jam to get Wilder with star creator takeover

14 January 2026

Summer Jam is crashing Stirling Leisure – Mirrabooka on Saturday 24 January on the second stop on its national tour to celebrate the best of street hoops.

Australia’s iconic streetball tournament and urban culture festival is known for its deep connection to basketball, community and youth culture.

The one-day event blends elite 5v5 basketball tournaments, music, food vendors, brand activations, meet-and-greets, exhibition match and finals, culminating in a trophy presentation.

Witness Perth’s best streetballers battle it out in the Open Division, with an all-expenses-paid trip to the World Streetball Championship in Melbourne on the line.

Awaiting the winning team in Melbourne will be the winning squads from other stops on the Summer Jam tour, as well as representatives from Japan, the USA, the Philippines, New Zealand and South Sudan.

Headlining the Summer Jam Perth festival will be a special appearance by basketball content creator Cam Wilder.

With millions of followers across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, the US social media star has promised to bring some other special guests to Mirrabooka for his signature city takeover event.

Come down to Stirling Leisure – Mirrabooka from 11.00am to 6.00pm on Saturday 24 January to enjoy the action and see basketball culture at its realest.
