Scarborough Beach Road and Green Street roundabout to improve traffic flow
Main Roads WA is are planning to build a new dual-lane roundabout improving safety and traffic flow for all road users.
After initital consultation by the City of Vincent and Main Roads WA in 2020, Main Roads WA are planning to build a new dual-lane roundabout at the intersection of Scarborough Beach Road and Green Street, improving safety and traffic flow for all road users.
The roundabout treatment is in response to 66 reported crashes at this location between 2019 and 2023, with most of these crashes occurring during right-turns or as a result of rear-end collisions.
Service relocations are scheduled to start in mid-2024, with roundabout construction expected in the final quarter of this year.
This project is funded by the State Government, following a 2017 election commitment.
