Roundabout remediation works

As part of the City's urban greening initiatives, a contractor has been engaged by the City to undertake roundabout rejuvenation works at the Blackbutt Road and Liege Street roundabout in Woodlands.

The works are scheduled to take place on Sunday, 30 August, between 7.00am and 1.00pm.

  • The scope of works includes:
  • Removal of one (1) tree due to poor health 
  • Excavation of soil to a depth of approximately one metre
  • Replacement planting of the removed tree
  • Installation of new landscaping soil to improve growing conditions.

All works will be carried out in accordance with the City's Tree Policy.

Approved traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works.
