New lounge collection service now available
City of Stirling residents now have yet another option for managing bulky waste.
Alongside existing on-demand services for mattresses, white goods, e-waste and skip bins, a new lounge suite collection service is being trialled to address a gap in disposing of large lounge items, which cannot go in a skip bin.
Residents can now choose to use their annual free allocation for either a lounge suite collection or a skip bin.
Each lounge booking can include up to three items, such as single lounge chairs or recliners, two or three-seat sofas and ottomans or pouffes associated with a lounge suite.
Please note, only one free service can be selected per financial year, so choosing a lounge collection means a skip bin will no longer be available (and vice versa).
Additional services can still be purchased if needed.
